SureGRP Ltd have donated £25,000 worth of Non-Slip flooring to build a safe walkway around the Lochnagar Crater in France. Adrian Stevenson said “This site is a major part of British history and attracts thousands of visitors a year. We are pleased to be able to help with this project and will be donating the materials which would normally cost £25,000 free of charge. SureGRP won the contract to Design manufacture and install DDA Compliant handrail to London Borough underground subways.
The work has been carried out through County Building Services.

All work was completed on time with minimal disruption to passengers.
In order to provide reception facilities for the olympic athletes and officials, British Airports Authority created a temporary terminal at Heathrow Airport. This major enterprise required the provision of a main terminal building, complete with both passenger and baggage handling facilities, together with Amenity blocks and office accomodation. Ingress and egress to these facilities was accomplished by a series of elevated platforms, accessed by steps or ramps. Antislip floor surfaces were an essential requirement and Suredeck panels, manufactured by J&A Stevenson Ltd proved the ideal solution. London Underpass Programme Whilst the internal areas to the underpass have been reconditioned with modern colours and the steel work repainted, DDA compliance has been integrated into the programme resulting in anti slip stair treads being fitted onto all the stairs. As part of the programme J&A Stevenson Ltd removed the existing handrail and replaced it with DDA compliant, dual height,warm to touch handrail. All work was completed on time and with minimal disruption of access to the underpass.
SureGRP Ltd were awarded the contract to ensure Alnmouth Railway Station’s footbridge was compliant with all of the DDA legislation, including installation and manufacture of non-slip flooring panels and high-visibility stair nosings. The non-slip flooring panels and high-visibility stair nosings were all bespoke manufactured to meet with the rail specifications. Works were completed ahead of schedule.
SureGRP Ltd were awarded the contract to aid with DDA Compliance on the new Wembley Stadium, and ensure all handrails were warm-to-touch. We completed the job to a high standard and the dual-height handrails have helped to ensure that the stadium complies with all points of the Disability Discrimination Act. J& A Stevenson were awarded the contract to help make Pewsey Railway Station footbridge DDA Compliant, including manufacture and installation of dual height, warm to touch handrails and anti-slip flooring for pedestrian use. New warm to touch handrail were designed fabricated shot blasted and coated all in house and fitted by our own on site tea m in a number of days, ensuring that minimal disruption to the use of the bridge. The anti slip surfaces and tactile flooring were all bespoke manufactured to meet with the rail specifications. Works were completed within one week.
Pendine Tyre Track – SureGRP Ltd Ltd were asked to manufacture 350 linear meter Anti slip surface with a tyre track impregnated into the surface to a purpose built concrete curved structure. Pendine Sands, on the bay of Carmarthen, stretch for seven miles from Gilman Point in the west to Laugharne Sands in the east. The beach is made up of hard-packed sand and due to its flatness and length it was the ideal spot in the early 1900’s for land speed trials.
